To be eligible for the NDIS, you must:
Be under 65 years of age when applying.
Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a Protected Special Category Visa.
Have a permanent and significant disability that impacts your daily living and requires support.
A NDIS service provider is an individual or organisation registered (or unregistered, but qualified) to deliver services or supports to participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme. NDIS support is not time-limited. Once you're approved, your support plan is reviewed and updated regularly—typically every 12 or 24 months—to make sure it continues to meet your changing needs and goals.
